Recognising the growing demand for postgraduate expertise, the M.Tech programme in Biotechnology was launched in 2010 with an intake of 18 students per year. The department's primary objective is to provide advanced academic training and conduct research in interdisciplinary biotechnology, extending knowledge towards technologies of commercial significance.
